Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston, born 9 August 1963 into an affluent family from Newark New Jersey is the daughter of Gospel star Cissy Houston as well as John Russell Houston Jr. They are also close relatives of singing sensation Dionne Warwick. The mother of Whitney and Whitney started singing professionally at the New Hope Baptist Church, Newark in the year Whitney was just fifteen years old. Her sales exceeded 44 million albums across the globe. The same year that she had her daughter Bobbi Brown, she got married to Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Around this time that her much documented usage of drugs began. By 1996 she was a daily drug user.
