Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Born in Winnipeg and brought up in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut portraying Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11 making her the second-youngest winner in Oscar history. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster in the category of Best Supporting actress for portraying the inquisitive and talkative daughter of Holly Hunter's leading role The Piano.
