Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny February 3 1950) is an American actress. Her fame grew in the 1970s and into the early 1980s thanks to her various roles on a range of TV shows in which she was depicted as a glamorous actress. Fairchild's professional career began in 1973, playing Jennifer Pace on the CBS soap opera Search for Tomorrow. In 1978 she appeared on the premiertime soap opera Dallas as the first actress in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a leading role on the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she was nominated for an Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for Television Series Drama). The following year, she played co-star on ABC's show on primetime called Paper Dolls. From 1985 to 1986, Fairchild played attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild has also been seen in theater, and in guest roles on television programs like Murphy Brown and Roseanne Cybill. She was even considered for the Primetime Emmy Award in 1985 for her role in this drama. She serves as a board member of SAG-AFTRA. She was born in Louisville Kentucky to a hotel manager and a domestic worker, Lawson had a passion for acting as early as she was a child. When she was eight years old, she began performing in local theatre productions. She was a graduate of an Catholic girl's only school. Maggie Lawson started her acting profession at age eight years old. At that age, she began acting in theatre productions. She later moved in Los Angeles for her first television pilot when she turned 15. She was 15 when she relocated to Los Angeles for her first television pilot.
